THIS IS A UK 1965 ISSUE OF THE BEATLES ALBUM "HELP" ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL PMC 1255
THIS IS A RARE ISSUE AS IT IS "MT" TAX CODE STAMPED,FIRST ISSUE COVER WITH "PINCHED EDGES" ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SPINE
Dead wax info (inc mothers/stampers) is as follows:
side 1:XEX 549-2 (4-GAT)
side 2:XEX 550-2 (1 3-GLG)
Record (label):Near mint
The labels which have the "gramophone co.." and "sold in uk.." text and has the rare MT tax code are very clean with no damage including no spindle hole wear.There are just a few very faint and small spider marks around the hole..thats all
Record (Visual):Excellent
The record is very strongly graded under strong light,in normal light it looks near mint but when you look under strong light as i do you can see some light hairline marks..no bad scratches at all,these lines could have been caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve
Record (Audio):
The record plays well with excellent sound and crystal clear sound quality,side 1 has a couple of bits of light static on "you`ve got to hide your love away"..the rest plays great.Side 2 has odd bits of light static which can mainly be heard in quiet parts."yesterday" plays well but has light static
Original "emitex" inner sleeve: Excellent
Clean but has a small split
Cover: Mint-/Excellent++
The garrod & lofthouse cover patents pending front laminated flipback cover is superb and VERY WHITE!!.The front which has the outlined mono is very clean with sharp edges and no laminate damage just a few small spine creases..no massive half moon creases.The back is also very white..it would also have graded mint- but there is a small brown spot which can be seen in the picture.The seams and spine are undamaged and the text is clear and readable
