This is an original 1966 mono first press in fantastic condition on the BLACK/YELLOW parlophone label which has SOLD IN UK and THE GRAMOPHONE CO text plus the (p) 1966 to the left of the hole and is also KT stamped
Plus this is the mega rare credit with the DOCTOR ROBERT label credit!!
The original laminated ERNEST J DAY flipback cover is in nice condition.The front is very shiny with full gloss,NO LAMINATE CRACKING! and no sign of storage wear.The four corners are very nice but slight rubbed,and of course there are no tears,stickers or writing and there are some edge creases most of which are not noticeable except for ones on the spine.The back is also nice with some storage wear which is evident near the opening,the flipbacks are fairly white with a little wear on the top and a couple of spine creases
The seams and spine are clean with no splits.the text on the spine is all clear and readable
The disc is STUNNING!!,made out of thick quality vinyl it shines! with NO GROOVE WEAR! and NO DEEP SCRATCHES!,it looks MINT!! but under a strong light you can see some very light marks
The parlophone labels are very clean with just some faint "spider" marks and a small mark near the hole on side 2
Fantastic album by the beatles which plays really well,most of the tracks play mint,there is minimal light crackle on "Here there.." and "Yellow submarine" and a couple of light clicks which are mainly between tracks.But these do not stop you enjoying this great album as they do not overshadow the music
