Description

TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music and more, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more 45's/EP's and LP's to sell - and thank you in advance. This very 1st US released LP, entitled appropriately enough, "Meet The Beatles", is from 1964 and is an original copy from Capitol Recordsand is also in MONOThis package comes with a replica of their March, 1964 newsletter/advertisement, plus an original Capitol Records inner sleeve that lists other Capitol albums available at that time. The record and jacket are both in outstanding overall condition, but since neither is perfect, please read on and check out all 12 of the pictures above. FYI, this is very near the end of my personal collection Beatles sell off - there are just a couple others are left to list - so please continue to check in if those are of interest to you. LABEL INFO: This original, first press, Capitol label (T-2047), in MONO, is super clean and nice with no issues in need of mentioning. I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circles which indicates to me that it had very light play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also primarily shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any real serious flaws. However, if you look closely enough under a bright light, there are some light (and I do mean light) surface/paper lines on either side, but they have absolutely no effect on the album's play - and really do little to effect it's appearance either. Other than these super light "surface/paper lines", the vinyl looks very shiny, clean and nice. JACKET: Finally, this jacket - with the tan or brown lettering and with no producer credit on the backside - is also in extremely good overall condition and shows no real serious flaws - although there is one small discoloration mark in the top left corner of the backside only (see pics). Otherwise, to me it also looks about as good as any used jacket can look - very, very nice!  But again, please view all the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this collectible 1st Beatles album is in great overall shape and I know there are several different "signs" to look for with certain parts of it. So, feel free to write me for more info if what I've mentioned and/or shown here is not enough. I actually wanted to post more pictures but I maxed out with what I did show - but hopefully, I've been able to show a bit of everything that's important. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are original pressings and in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per album after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $25.00 for this LP and then just $3.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
