Clean sleeve with NO writing rips or tears. The front laminate is bright and shiny with very light pressure marking and very light rubbing wear, and some light laminate creasing.
Rear Board EX Rear black board is clean with NO writing rips tears stickers and just some light handling wear. Flipbacks EX Flipbacks are complete clean and stuck fast. DETAILSThis album doesn't flaunt its genius. That's what's so great about it. You listen to it, you think, "Okay, this is pretty good, I guess" and then you listen to something else and think, "Well, that was pretty good, but I think I'd rather listen to Revolver".
And then you slowly realize you have that same reaction to almost everything else you own. You don't understand why, since it doesn't really feel like a major statement, much less a masterpiece, and yet that's exactly what it is. Listeners who were around when this album first came out will surely disagree and wonder how anyone could think this was anything but a monumental event, but that just proves how much of an influence this album has been to subsequent musicians.
It was radical at the time, but its innovation may be lost on modern listeners because so many of its revolutionary techniques are now commonplace. Even so, it maintains a freshness few other albums hold even a decade after their release, and the songwriting has rarely been equalled.
