                                      THE BEATLES  -  RUBBER SOUL

This was The Beatles sixth album and contained the following tracks :

SIDE 1. DRIVE MY CAR, NORWEGIAN WOOD, YOU WONT SEE ME, NOWHERE MAN, THINK FOR YOURSELF, THE WORD, MICHELLE.

SIDE 2. WHAT GOES ON, GIRL, I'M LOOKING THROUGH YOU, IN MY LIFE, WAIT, IF I NEEDED SOMEONE, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

The very first issue had a slightly different studio mix. It can be recognised by the matrix numbers ending with "-1", This is generally referred to as the "Loud" cut.
This was a mix that was discontinued after a very brief pressing run.

'K T' tax code embossed astride spindle hole on side 2 (see pic)

Garrod & Lofthouse laminated cover with 'Patents Pending' printed on back.

'Pinched' ends to the spine.

COVER ...G&L flipback in EXCELLENT condition. Crisp, clean, sharp square corners. A nice example.  Front laminate is in great condition with a fine glossy appearance. Laminate has no wrinkles, no folds or lifting. Minimal signs of wear/usage on the opening edge. The spine is undamaged with fully legible text.  The back panel is fresh & bright with a smudged print area at bottom (see pic). The flipbacks are sealed and clean.

INNER SLEEVE... in EXCELLENT+ condition. Original 'Emitex' example is clean and crisp with trace paper lining in beautiful condition. No yellowing or fading. No splits.

VINYL...in EXCELLENT condition.  Fully play-tested. Plays excellently. Still retaining its deep black original glossy sheen. Some wispy hairlines/faint paper grazes on each side . No deep feelable scratches at all. A couple of mild pops on the blank area in between tracks 1&2 on side 2 which quickly disappear before track 2 starts. Under magnification I cannot see a blemish on the vinyl surface which would cause this. All music tracks play excellently with a occasional isolated 'static' here and there in keeping with the age/use of the album. Labels are clean and undamaged (see pics) with some spindle travel traces. Minimal wear around the spindle hole.  Overall a very nice copy which plays excellently.

Comes in a protective polythene sleeve.
