THE BEATLES -Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

Parlophone UK 1967 PCS 7027 STEREO

Sleeve:Excellent Plus, VINYL:Excellent, Insert: Excellent, Inner Sleeve: Very good plus plus

Parlophone – Yellow and Black format.

Text  ‘Sold in UK Subject to Resale’ etc, ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ etc, ‘Made in Gt Britain’. ‘First Pressing’ of this classic masterpiece. Label is  Beautiful clean and attractive examples that show hardly any spindle marks at all.. No  wear around the hole area. Both clean and fresh looking and clearly little handled with hardly any traces of fingermarks.

Matrix Numbers: YEX 637-1 / YEX 638-1 Stamper

This is a complete copy: the labels meet the recognised criteria to be a ‘first pressing’ but that is a lose term. The cover is very strong and fresh and has few blemishes only. The original ‘Patents Applied for’ psych inner is included and again its a good one only some creasing and edgewear . The insert of course is included in Excellent condition. The record visually is shinny and clean and sounds perfect with very very few light clicks on couple of thin passes.

Cover Grade and Format: Graded as Excellent to EX+, a gatefold format, laminated all over (including the centrefold). Two huge flipback on the top of the inner. This has the original PCS 7027 Stereo cover number. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. A very attractive example of what is arguably the most famous cover ever made, this looks terrific. Shows some wear on the spine, still beutiful and readable.

Inner Gatefold: perfect

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: A Side NM (ex++)  B side EX (VG+++) (or very, very close too only some paper scuffs observed under 150 watt light) Unbanded version. A superb visual copy with just some  light  paper scuffs and  couple hairlines on side two. Super clean, shiny, jet black and very heavily pressed, this record looks really amazing. Sound Excellent at least to my ears (I ve listen it with head phones and I heart only very few very very light clicks on B side) has only very few thin line scarthes and very minor papers scuffs per side visible only in very strong light.

Standart Seller's Rate is referred to single items Shipping cost (ie 1xLp, 1xCD 1x7" etc) . The rate for multiple items (2LP set 3LP sets etc) are 50% more (fe 1Lp is 4 GBp fro europe and a 2LP set is 6 GBP a 3LP set 8 GBP etc, fro non-EEC destinations 1LP is 5 GBp and 2LP set is 7.5 GBp and a Triple is 10 GBP
