Rarest of all of the Beatles Second Album East Coast Stereo label variations with the corrected song title "I Call Your Name" without the running time on all of the tracks, Mono labels weren't printed in this variation. The initial 1st run labels for this LP, which are the most commonly found, don't have the running times for "Long Tall Sally" or "I Call Your Name" on Side 2. But after Capitol Records received the tapes for these two tracks, the company revised the label by adding the times for both songs. When the BMI credit replaced the ASCAP credit for the song "I Call Your Name," Capitol once again revised its label, but only on the Stereo labels. The printer for the East Coast Stereo label not only changed ASCAP to BMI after "I Call Your Name", but also dropped the running time for the song. Therefore, the Stereo variation contains the running time for "Long Tall Sally", but not for "I Call Your Name". Original thick cardboard cover remains in its original loose-fitting distributor protective 'Sears Roebuck and Co.' baggy with the yellow Sears logo in the opposite corners. The back cover has a factory designator RIAA 2 designator number at the bottom right corner, identifying the issue as a Capitol Records, Scranton, Pennsylvania plant pressing. Original Capitol Records ST-2080 stereo catalog number black label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's without the "subsidiary" print. Thick glossy heavyweight vinyl with the 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl: Side 1 - ST-1-2080-A3#2 IAM in Triangle I I P / Side 2 - ST-2-2080-A3 IAM in Triangle P. The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: ST-1-2080-B2 IAM in a triangle P I I / Side 2: ST-2080-A1 #2 IAM in a circle P. The album comes with the original Capitol Records blue inner sleeve, containing the other Capitol Records releases.

CONDITION:

COVER: EXCELLENT (EX) The baggy has preserved the cover very well. It's very clean, only having some light scuffing at the bottom of the front cover, and doesn't have any writing or splits.

VINYL: SIDE 1 - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) / SIDE 2 - VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) The glossy vinyl contains some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve, none of which can be felt with a finger nail.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description.
