ex+ vinyl, complete with poster, black inners, photos The Beatles -
"The Beatles" (white album)
Original 1st pressing UK 1968 Stereo double LP on Apple Records PCS 7067/8
top-opening numbered G&L gatefold sleeve, black inners, poster & 4 colour prints, dark green label with "Sold in UK..." text - no "emi recording" on label sides 3 and 4.
1st pressing - matrix numbers are :
side1/ 1 - YEX 709-2 - G
side2/ 3 - YEX 710-1 - GRO
side3/ 5 - YEX 711-1 - GDT
side4/ 4 - YEX 712-1 - GDO
gatefold top-opening sleeve numbered 0551380 printed by Garrod & Lofthouse in very good+ condition, in the right light I can just see a name on the sleeve in small letters but the ink has been removed so it is just an impression left on the laminated surface, hard to see, there is some light wear to laminate on spine and light creasing at bottom right corner, otherwise excellent and very presentable.
Labels are in excellent+ condition, very little spindle wear
All labels are dark green with "Sold in UK " text.
label sides 3 & 4 do not have "an E.M.I. recording" text on them!
original black inner sleeves are in very good to excellent condition, no splits! intact with just some light edge wear and a short 2cm tear in one of the center holes(see photo)
Vinyl is in excellent+ condition, very shiny and does not seem to have been played very much, under a very bright light I can only see the faintest of wispy sleeve marks and a hairline on "dear prudence" but I am being super critical here, it is very hard to see it and it does not affect the sound in the slightest, otherwise the vinyl is in near mint condition, I have listened carefully (and loud!) to all four sides throughout and it all sounds really excellent + to near mint, plays really well, like a new record with hardly any noise, good silence in between songs, no noises even on the quietest songs, very impressive clear and undistorted sound, a quality pressing in superb condition.
original poster is in excellent condition, does not appear to have been used.
The photos are in vg+ to excellent condition, they each have small pin holes on the corners were they were pinned up to a wall, John and Paul have a very small bit worn off one corner, otherwise all excellent, no creases.
