Description
This is an original 1989 UK first pressing of 'Welcome to the Beautiful South' by the band The Beautiful South. The album features 12" black vinyl in a cardboard sleeve with catalogue number AGOLP 16. The record is in very good plus (VG+) condition and has been professionally cleaned. The inlay is in good (G) condition, and the sleeve is also graded as good (G).
This album is a must-have for fans of pop, indie, alt rock, and alternative music, with the unique style and sound of Paul Heaton. This first issue vinyl is a collector's item and a rare find.

The vinyl album has been professionally ultrasonically cleaned and sounds great. I have play tested it
The inner and outer sleeves have some defects which are clearly shown in the photos. Not too bad for a 30+ year old record though. I have therefore graded the sleeves as good. Remember though that the vinyl album is VERY GOOD+ and that's what counts.
Whentesting records I use either a Garrard Sp25 MK3 or a Teac TN175 turntable.Reasonable mid end equipment. If you are using a low end deck perhaps with aworn stylus you may not get the same playback; and if you are using very highend equipment you may hear some surface noise I could not.
Very Good Plus (VG+): A Very Good Plus record will show somesigns that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who tookgood care of it. Defects are more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting theactual playback as a whole. . The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but itshould be barely noticeable.
