Description

Collectable England original vintage press from 1968.

Psychedelic beat music, German 'underground' album, interesting organ work, strange and intriguing, worth checking out by those who like the downcast & somber sound of '60s beat music from the low countries. At times this is eccentric R&B-influenced rock, but it's set aside from the norm by the odd church-psychedelic organ and strange bits of falsetto vocals that sound as sardonic as they do sincere. The lyrics can get pretty weird and gloomy, too, as in the title track, which declares "I stay in my bed, 'cause a job is no destination".

Vinyl Grade: +VG, some hairlines only, heavy vinyl, no scratches but surface is not high enough gloss for an EX grade.

Sound Quality: EX, sounds fine, has some very light surface noise in a few intros/endings that does not detract from the music, fully play tested to check.

Cover: +VG, light creasing and light wear, includes Saga inner.

Labels: clear, no spindle wear.

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.

Postage: I package very very well and only charge the actual Aust Post cost. Pleased to combine posting: 1 record is $8.95, 2 or 3 records is $12.20, 4 records to about 9 records is $15.35.
