Description

Here it is!  One of the holy grails of rock!  Here is THE SUPER RARE original 1965 promotional white label 7" single pressing on the Challenge Records label (59316) from The Brogues titled "Don't Shoot Me Down" b/w "I Ain't No Miracle Worker".     Those wise to this record know how rare and collectible it is.  This is one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) hard psych rock records ever recorded!  Gary Duncan and Greg Elmore later went on from The Brogues to form Quicksilver Messenger Service.  The Chocolate Watchband later covered "I Ain't No Miracle Worker" as a more mellow psychedelic version.             Matrix / Runout (Side A):  2164 45-1264   <faded logo>   ?58778 Matrix / Runout (Side B):  1265   <faded logo>   ?58778-X                                  My vinyl is play graded, and NOT visually graded.           The vinyl plays in STRONG VG++ condition with very dynamic fidelity!  There is very light static in the quiet spots (of which there are a couple on "I Ain't No Miracle Worker").  This is a killer copy that can be cranked crazy high to blow the windows out of your house!  There are some faint marks.                       I combine shipping for multiple items won.  I charge by weight (roughly 13 oz. per LP, and 2 oz. per 7" single), and not by item, which makes it much more fair for the buyer.     My apologies for the high international shipping costs, but this super rare item MUST BE INSURED, and insurance is not offered for International First Class.      I do NOT ship to Brazil.  Their postal service is quite corrupt and they have "lost" too many of my packages.                                                  Please note: I've had several reports of some international packages taking several months to arrive, and two packages never arrived at all. If you want your package insured you must pay for Priority International shipping. First Class International shipping can not be insured (that's the post office's rule, not mine). I know the cost of Priority International shipping is outrageous, but that's the only way I can insure an international package.

Please contact me within three days after receiving your invoice, or your items will be relisted or offered to the next highest bidder. I have had too many delinquent bidders that have kept me hanging wondering if they plan on honoring their bids. If you bid on an item and you will not be around to contact me when the auction ends, please send me a message before the auction ends to let me know. I would very much appreciate the courtesy. Thank you.

If you require special packaging, inform me before you pay. I'm tired of people paying me, and then telling me they practically want the item shipped in a stainless steel case. Special packaging requires more material, which means it will weigh more, which means it will cost more. If you have already paid, you will get MY packaging regardless of what you specify afterward. You can see from my feedback that most items arrive safely and packaged well. The post office is sometimes irresponsible with their handling, but if an item is damaged it's not because of the packaging, it's because the post office treated it very badly.
