Description
I have been an obsessive collector of vinyl LP's and singles for many years, and from the very first I have always been very careful about the condition of the records I have bought. Once in my posession the records have been well stored and always very carefully handled. If the records have been played at all, it has always been on a good quality hi - fi system, the deck being a Linn LP12 deck with a top of the range arm and cartridge.
As a result, most of the many thousands of items in my collection are in excellent condition or better.
Now, in order to create more space at home, I have decided to cut the collection back to a core of my personal favourite artistes, and to dispose of the remainder. These I intend to list for auction over the coming months.
For auction here is a totally original UK copy of an LP by the folk-rock supergroup 'The Bunch' fronted by the legendary Sandy Denny, and including most of the members of Fairport Convention etc. The album is called 'Rock On' recorded on the Island label bearing the number 'ILPS 9189', an album dating to 1972.
Here this album is in its rarest form, bearing the front cover mounted free flexi single, and what is more it is still in its original shrinkwrapping and is in totally unopened and unplayed condition - how rare is that? You won't find a better one than this.
