I HAVE BOUGHT ONE OF THE BEST COLLECTION OF PROMOS / DEMOS / ACETATES FROM A RETIRED RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE THAT WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM THE LATE 1950'S TO THE MID 1970'S, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING COLLECTION OF SINGLES I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I WILL BE LISTING IT OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, THERE ARE MANY NEVER SEEN, OR RARELY SEEN PROG / PSYCH / FREAKBEAT / MOD / BEAT / DANCER / NORTHERN SOUL / ROCK 'N' ROLL / POPCORN / FOLK DEMOS / PROMOS AND ACETATES !!! AND ALL IN AMAZING CONDITION.

WOW, WHAT A FIND, A 1968 UNRELEASED UNKNOWN UK GARAGE PUNK BAND “THE BURNING DESIRE” !!!
I could not find any information about this band in the net, all I can tell you is the band came from the ESSEX area (as can be seen by the contact information for the manager stamped on the original cardboard sleeve) !!! The band recorded their DEMO ACETATE on the 7th of October 1968 as can be seen on the label, through the small NICRO pressing plant. They even printed the band’s name wrong as THE BURNING DESURE on one side instead of tHE BURNING DESIRE !!! They do 2 ROLLING STONES covers but these covers are TRULY AMAZING - GARAGE PUNK VERSIONS with SNOTTY VOCALS and GREAT FUZZY GUITARS !!! One is an AMAZING GARAGE PUNK VERSION of “SATISFACTION” while the other is a MOODY GARAGE TYPE version of the track “LONG LONG WHILE” which was a ROLLING STONES B. side for the “PAINT IT BLACK” single !!!
This ACETATE, like others I am listing all came from a retired RECORD INDUSTRY PERSON and are all 100% ORIGINAL !!!
The tracks are: SATISFACTION / LONG LONG WHILE.
The ACETATE was pressed by the NICRO facilities !!!
The condition of the ACETATE is VG nearly VG+ condition (plays with the usual crackle acetate tend to have, only minor scuffs and some pen circles on the B side label) !!! + ALSO COMES with the ORIGINAL CARDBOARD sleeve with the band / manager contact details !!!
