THE BYRDS
Title : Mr Tambourine Man Label : CBS
Catalogue No : BPG 62571-1A-1 / 1B-1 Issue : UK Mono Original
This is the Mono UK Original of 'Mr Tambourine Man' by The Byrds. It is complete with the earliest 1A-1//1B-1 matrix, the earliest textured orange CBS label, the original CBS advertising inner sleeve and the laminated Ernest J Day sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a stunning bright shine, there are just a few very light marks on both sides. On playing the sound is warm, the backing is rich and the voices are vibrant, there is light noise but it is largely insignificant, it stills sounds extremely clear. The orange CBS label has bold orange and sharp black text. There is only slight spindle wear. The record is complete with the original advertising inner sleeve.
The cover is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a superb gloss, the pink title is vivid and the black is very bold. There is just a little wear on the top corner and a couple laminate creases. The unlaminated back cover is bright with only very light discolouration and completely clean. The spine is firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve still feels extremely solid.
