So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an excellent condition copy of the very first UK STEREO pressing from 1968 of the 'SWEETHEART OF THE RODEO' album by THE BYRDS.  It is on the CBS label and has the catalogue number S 63353.  A genuine UK first pressing it has the very first pressing orange CBS labels and the matrix numbers 63353 A1 and 63353 B1 in the runout grooves. The sleeve is in superb condition for its age.  There is hardly any wear or marks anywhere.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable.  Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition but there are quite a few 'spindle trails' showing that the record has been played quite often.  The record surfaces are excellent with only a very few surface marks from being taken out of the sleeve. Both sides play really well with occasional light surface noise and occasional 'pops'.  But definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this album. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
