Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1968 first pressing of the Byrds’ Sweetheart of the Rodeo LP on Columbia stereo CS-9670. Original pressing with the 2-eye labels. Features the great Gram Parsons, pulling the Byrds into full-blown country rock for the first time. Also some wonderful guitar by the great Clarence White. This is really the classic of all classic county rock records. The masterpiece of them all. And this copy is just stunning. The disc is very nearly mint and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. There are a few very light wispy sleeve scuffs but barely, and of course they don’t affect the play in the least. Just an incredible sounding copy. The cover has some light edge and corner wear, especially at the bottom, as well as a touch of faint ringwear, but really is still quite lovely and beautifully intact and quite clean. This is truly a top, top original copy, very hard to beat.
