TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare and highly collectible 1959 LP release by the '60's R'n'R girl group, The Chantels -- their very 1st LP release -- is on the original, gray colored, End Label and is in very nice condition in MONO. The album is entitled, "We Are The Chantels" -- with jukebox front cover -- and features 12 great songs from this early R'n'R girl group, and comes from my dearly beloved personal collection. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead. As mentioned already, this LP is in super nice conditioned and features 12 great songs including the hit single,"Maybe", plus "The Plea", and "I Told You So'" among others. In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are very, very nice, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the original End Label, LP-301, in MONO, and in my opinion, in beautiful shape. I don't even see that many spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me very moderate play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing really negative to report -- although there are a few extremely, super light, and completely uneventful, paper lines on either side. They have absolutely no effect on the LPs play, and in my opinion, do virtually nothing to effect the LP's appearance either. JACKET INFO: Likewise, the jacket is also mostly "very good" with no real serious flaws either---although there are a few very small scuff marks in a couple of the corners and along some parts of the open edge seam. Again though, given the age and rarity of this LP, I find all of these issues to be very insignificant and/or minor. So, please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet.
