Description
One-of-a-kind one sided acetate test pressing of two jazz pieces recorded by The Charles Gerard Group in 1975. Gerard is now known professionally as Charley Gerard. I believe the group consists of Gerard on sax, Mickey Tucker on piano, Don Schott on drums and Cameron Brown on bass. Brown has played with Don Cherry, Booker Ervin, Donald Byrd and many others.
I have found no evidence that the songs were ever released.
Condition of the acetate is VG+*, with 3 finger swipes. It plays with very mild noise and skips once on "Red Carpet" (which likely would be fixed with a conical stylus). The label has writing. It comes in a plain white cover that has writing (see photos below).
