Description
This is an auction for a very rare EP, The Chiffons, They're So Fine.
This was released by Stateside records in 1964 and has catalogue number SE 1012.
Condition: The sleeve has some light discolouring marks, some of which will clean of the front laminated surface. Buffing to the corners with a slight impression of the record showing through. No tears, bends or edge splits, flipback edges fine. Please check the pictures on supersize for clarification. This sleeve is graded at VG+.
Both labels are clean and near new, under very close examination a few tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is fine and shows little sign of wear. Again please check the pictures.
The vinyl has a few tiny feather scratches seen under a strong light.
This record has been play tested.
Side 1, starts with a nice quiet entry, plays through both records almost perfectly with perhaps a couple of very quiet crackles only. There is very little to no lessening in sound quality on this side and plays as near mint.
Side 2, Does have a touch of feckling, surface noise heard through out part of this side, this does clear to play like side 1. There is no consistant tick and at no time does it replace the music itself which can be heard clearly through out. This side I would grade at VG.
All 5 tracks play with no fading, distortion or dragging and have clean breaks, clear entries and very little lessening in sound quality.
This record is graded from VG to Near Mint and could pehaps play even better once cleaned?
