Description
Here is my original copy of the Clash album Sandinista. Released in 1980 on CBS records Cat no FSLN 1. This comes complete with the original sticker affixed to the front sleeve and a very good condition copy of the Armagideon Times insert. It is a weird variant with the 1st disc carrying A5 / B2 matrix numbers but discs 2 and 3 appear to have originally been destined for European release as they both carry the CBS S 66363 matrix numbers which have been scratched out by the pressing plant and the FSLN 1 matrix stamped in with C1 / D4 and E4 / F1 corresponding numbers. This variant is not listed on Discogs so I assume that they were running low on stock at the plant for UK releases and nabbed some of the European stock to replace them. This is in good played condition, with a little wear and tear and a few marks on the vinyl, but nothing that jumps or skips.
