All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in very good+ condition. It has quite a few spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are in great shape with jusst the spindle marks to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything serious but do have a few very light surface lines and a couple of light marks visible in normal light. There are more extremely minor wispy lines visible under very bright white light but again nothing serious or sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is excellent. Its crisp, defined and very clear with only a miniscule trace of surface noise audible in the run in and between tracks. There is very little, to anything at all audible during the actual audio, with only a very minor amount very, very occasionally audible as I say. There are no serious issues such as skips, sticks or loud disruptive annoying clicks, but I picked up on a light series(between 8-10, then a gap, then another 3 or 4) in 'Police and Thieves' on side 2. These are not loud clicks but are faint and just audible but had to be mentioned. Other than these which are pretty minor the audio is superb with next to nothing to report of any seriousness. It was a very enjoyable play test and produced audio of great quality which I think would grade higher than VG+.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is no longer clearly legible. Despite this edge wear they are all strong enough with no central splits or really weak areas where one may develop. There is however heavy wear to the front bottom right corner which has caused a split or tear 1" up the bottom edge(see last pic). Other than the edge wear there is a ring mark showing in parts on the back and some minor creases here and there. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid and in pretty good shape. There is a hint of fading in places and some very slight age related grubbiness but overall it is very good as I say. I have tried to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It includes a replacement white inner which is in excellent condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and has only very slight creasing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
