THE CLASH Same Debut UK CBS 1st A5/B3 Sunburst Label PUNK Joe Strummer

The Clash, Same.

Original 1977 UK pressed CBS Records stereo LP, S CBS 82000.

A very early issue, with the following issue points:

Matt sunburst labels with an arrow at 9 o'clock underneath "stereo".

Early A5/B3 matrix numbers. These may seem high, but are actually early for this issue, the majority are higher.

Sleeve has luminous detail to both front and rear panels.

Vinyl visually a strong VG plus. Glossy surfaces with a very few light marks. Plays very cleanly, a fraction of run-in crackle to the B side else a very solid EX.

Labels are clean and undefaced, although a fair amount of spindle activity noticeable.

Sleeve G. Main panels overall clean and unmarked but a small approx inch by half inch area of surface loss to roughly the centre of the rear panel. Overall wear and creasing. Edges somewhat worn and chipped including an approx two and a half inch seam split to centre of top edge. Spine has some chipping and surface loss. Entry side a little softened but not heavily feathered.
