Early UK pressing with ‘The Armagideon Times’ insert.  

A4 / B2 / C4 / D4 / E5 / F2  matrix numbers.

CONDITION:       STRICT  U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  I aim to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.   All records are checked in good natural daylight and play tested IN FULL at volume on high-end audio equipment.    Used records are cleaned using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine prior to play testing, unless condition deems unnecessary. 

SUPERB PLAYING CONDITION.    Playing condition is NrMINT/MINT.   Record has clearly had very, very little previous play, if any?   No real difference compared to new.   Very occasional background surface noise.  Overall, NO crackle  NO loud consecutive clicks  NO groove-wear/distortion  NO jumps  NO sticking. 

Visually, in good daylight, the vinyls looks NrMINT.  Vinyls lovely and clean and retain their original sheen – look practically new. 

Labels are NrMINT/MINT.   Very few and faint spindle marks.  All text perfectly readable.  NO writing  NO stickers.

Sleeve is in VG/VG- condition.   Structurally sound.   Clear edge and corner wear in places.  Obvious staining on some parts of the edges.    Some small creases.   Some rubbing/light ring wear in places.  All spine text perfectly readable.   NO seam splits  NO long rips/tears  NO writing  NO stickers. 

Insert is in EX condition, if not better.   Some mild yellowing in places.   1 or 2 small stain spots.  NO creases!  NO rips/tears  NO writing  NO stickers.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
