Description
For sale is a rare first pressing of The Clash's self-titled album on vinyl. This LP features 12" records with 33 RPM speed and comes in its original cover. The record label is CBS Records UK and it was released in 1977 in the United Kingdom. The music on this album falls into the punk rock genre and is sung in English. The inlay condition is very good (VG) while the sleeve grading is very good plus (VG+). This item is perfect for any fan of The Clash or collector of vinyl records.
Rare to find in this condition , probably only played once, not bad for a 1977 original UK copy with the A 5 (side A) in the dead wax run-out and B 4 (side B) in the dead-wax run-out also underneath the STEREO word printed on the label on the left is the ARROW printed underneath on both sides.
This indicates the first UK pressings.
I have play tested the vinyl as some parts of the vinyl are some type of surface marks side one, track 1. Janie Jones a faint non feel-able mark, no effect on playback, also white riot some kind of non feel-able scuffs, again no effect on playback, no skips music plays well. Some wear to the spine of the sleeve as pictured, storage wear however not split.
