Record-GOOD+/VG-

Generally the record presents ok there are numerous marks on both side with some light hairlines and some lightly heavier marks in places, with some light inner sleeve marks present and general wear. Only one of these marks is feelable and is approx 1.2cm. There is some light dishing to the label which is consistent that creates a 1mm rise when on side 1. This is often seen and can sometimes be a result of the record being removed from the pressing plates too soon. This does not effect the play back of the record.

I have listened to both sides and I was pleasantly surprised by how it played. It is often the case that these heavier sixties pressings are much more forgiving especially Island as the pressings are quite heavy weight. I found that there were no noticeable jumps or skips which certainly was encouraging (there was one point that stuck and repeated on side 1 track 3, but this stopped after a clean and just sounded as a soft tick, I double checked this and it continued to just tick and not stick (I cant be sure how this will be effected on your player). There is an underlying background noise that is sporadically and occasionally noticed in quieter sections but the sound was generally bright. The sound grading is better than its visual grading generally speaking, and in all honesty on my player it sounded good and was a pleasant listen. There were some other occasional ticks and surface noises in places but this was generally quite  light. Because of the nature of this record it is quiet a busy recording so most marks are masked on play back. The lightly feelable mark mentioned effects about 40 seconds in total and presents as a louder tick in the quieter sections but again once the song kick in it is minimised. On the whole it was a pleasant listen. This is not for the collecting purists of course but if you want to listen to this classic album this is the album for you.

Sleeve-VG

Quite a clean example that has some wear, There are surface marks and light scuffs present on both front and back, the inner gatefold is much better. The edges and corners have some wear, with some rounding to the corners. The spine is rubbed that effects the legibility of the text. There is some surface rubbing and ring wear present but it is quiet a clean complete example. Certainly not the best sleeve but it still quite solid. Please view the photo gallery for a visual of the condition.
