Description

THE COASTERS – Self Titled Debut LP – On Atco, 33-101. Nice & Minty! This is an original 1958 Deep Groove Mono issue with the Atco Harp label. The address on the back cover is 157 West 57th St. New York. The etching in the trail-off vinyl says AT1.

Here’s another rare find and in excellent condition too. This one has some great rockin tunes and a little doo wop. This is an original. The full track list is:

Searchin’, One kiss led to another, Brazil, Turtle dove, Smokey Joe’s café, Wrap it up, Riot in cell block number 9, Young blood, Loop de loop mambo, One kiss, I must be dreamin’ Lola, Framed, & Down in Mexico

CONDITION:

The COVER is in great condition, nice and rigid with good color and nice gloss. The spine and edges are near perfect with just a little rounding on 3 corners and some faint surface wear. So faint it doesn’t show up in the photo. No stains, stickers, splits, or writing on it. I’ll grade the cover a VG+, even though it looks much better than that, but you be the judge.

The VINYL is thick, heavy, very glossy, and in immaculate condition with only a few faint scuffs on it that did not affect the sound. This LP plays with awesome fidelity and no background noise at all. It looks like it’s rarely been played. I’ll grade it a NM- just to be conservative. The winner of this auction is going to be very pleased.

Shipping is $4 in the U.S. and $1 more per LP when combining shipping with any of my other LP auctions. International bidders are welcome but shipping will be quoted after the auction ends. Typical overseas shipping is $14 to Europe, and $15 to Asia, for air mail and about half that for surface mail.

PAYMENT – I prefer Money Orders, but will also take PayPal. Cash is good too. Payment must be received within 7 days after the close of auction. If you’re unable to pay on time, “Don’t Bid”.

I’ll be auctioning off lots of high quality and collectible records in the next few weeks, Jazz, R&B, Soul, & Funk, and some excellent Rock too. Click on the “ SELLERS OTHER AUCTIONS” link above to see what else is current. Feel free to send me an email with any questions.

Thanks for checking out my auctions!
