This record is in excellent condition. It has some light spindle marks visible on the labels and a strange black mark near the very centre on side 2. There are no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere however and the centres are not loose and worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape all round.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything remotely serious and have a lovely gloss. There are a very few scratches at all showing with side 2 beautifully clean. Side 1 has a few tiny 1mm spots or marks dotted around and also 2 tiny white spots or blemishes. These are very minor but are the really the only thing that is visible in normal light on either side. These minor issues and a few minor wispy lines are visible under very bright white light but again nothing sinister.
I play tested the record and it plays really well overall. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is very enjoyable throughout and it is free of any major problems or surface noise. There are no skips, sticks or severely disruptive loud clicks, but side 1 has some light ticks or clicks sporadically occurring throughout. These are by no means disruptive enough to cause the side to be unenjoyable but can be heard in places and are caused the tiny and blemishes mentioned above. Side 2 has little to nothing audible however and played through great with no clicks of any seriousness and clear defined audio with little to no surface noise. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test and produced audio of good quality despite the minor issues to side 1.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has only very mild wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There are no splits or weak areas anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid. It has no scuffs, tears or pen marks anywhere but there is some age related discolouring or grubbiness throughout. This is not major but there is just some mild discolouring in places(mainly around the edges). Overall a solid sleeve with no major issues, only mild creasing(to rear left edge), but some age related grubbiness as mentioned. I have tried to capture the sleeves condition as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It includes its original plain black inner which is in excellent condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but some light creasing and mild ring marks. There is also sticker with the catalogue number written on in the top left corner of one side.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
