The Complete Thelonious Monk at the It Club Mosaic MRLP 3001 4-LP Box Set, 2009
Mint, vacuum cleaned then played once on an audiophile turntable (Rega P2) to digitize; stored in a humidity and temperature controlled area of a smoke free home
Mint LP's, booklet(s), box
Made in US, 180 g Vinyl, analogue recording
Includes two booklets, numbered 2340 and 2341 (it came this way, I will include both books; my guess is that whoever got set 2341 did not get a booklet)

The unidentified Columbia remote recording engineer who taped these performances at the It Club, then L.A.'s hippest jazz club, did an excellent job. Throughout these performances though, the recording quality varies as a result of the musician's proximity to their microphones. This is particularly true in the case of Charlie Rouse. In mixing these performances, Mark Wilder has gone to considerable lengths to compensate for those off-mic moments.
