One of the most important Blues records ever!!  Edited and compiled by the legendary Blues historian Sam Charters. This album helped to introduce the country blues to audiences around the world. Released in 1959 to accompany Charters' book of the same title. Complete with its original 4-page information insert. Plus an article from The Times in 1990 on Robert Johnson.
The record is in EX (Excellent) condition. Now over 60 years old but looks very good. Both labels are clean and unmarked. Cover is Good+. Thick card. Some wear along the outer edges and soft corners. Looks like a stickers has been removed (top right).
The pictures show Martin Carthy (UK folk/blues artist) with a copy of the album and his interview about its significance.
