Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare first Holland pressing of The Creation – Painter Man b/w Biff, Bang, Pow on the Vogue label with cat. no. HV 2079, dating from 1967.
The record is in VG condition, there are some hairlines and a couple sounding marks on side 1. The labels are in VG condition as well, there are some sticker residues on both sides and some writing (name and probably a purchase date). The original push out centre is still intact and has some slight wear along the spindle hole.
The original picture sleeve is in VG condition, there is something that looks like a sticker tear mark, the previous owner’s name and two folds the front. There are also light wear on the upper opening edge.
This is an extremely rare and hard to find Dutch original Creation single. As this single totally flopped back in 1967, not many were sold. Although not in mint condition, this copy is still plays great. A real must have for all psych fans! Happy Bidding!
