Description
These dont come up very often You are bidding on an RARE Original Copy of this
fabulous Doo Wop /Rock N Roll single by the seminal Doo Wop band:
THE CRESTS '16 Candles' Released in 1958 on LONDON Records which PLAYGRADES at SUPER EX+. (Minor superficial hairlines/marks not affecting play).
Comes in Original Company Sleeve and additional Poly sleeve for dust protection.
As the single has a replacement tri-centre I have dropped the final grading overall to EX (see pics). Current book price is £50 upwards.
This single however is so rare on The UK London Label that I was ecstatic to have an Original copy without a centre until I finally found one with the Tri-Centre intact. Thats why this beauty is now up for grabs.
Rare Record Collector Grading: EXCELLENT (EX) : The record shows minor signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. The labels may have light spindle marks (Or in this case No Original Centre which brings the final overall grade to EX rather than its Playgrade which is EX+
A fantastic Rock N Roll / Doo Wop track and is essential for any collector.
Side 'A': 16 Candles
Side 'B': Beside You
Label: UK London
Labels in EX/EX+ with NO writing, stickers or tears (NOC)
Year: 1958
I offer a no quibble returns on my vinyl (buyer pays return postage).
