THE CRYSTAL IMAGE Rare Psych/Funk 45 on DREAM S1271 "Can You Feel It/No One Takes the Time". The Crystal Image were a Lodi, CA band whose 500 pressing OG LPs on this label are highly sought after by psych collectors. This record has to be even more scarce, as I could find no mention of it ever existing! And it's a unique and wonderful record too! "Can You Feel It" is straight up funk. I know these guys are white, but they don't sound like it on this song. "No One Takes the Time" is a very hypnotic garage/psych song that reminds me a bit of the Velvet Underground "Loaded" album. The record is in the VG to VG+ range. It has some surface scratches that don't effect play, and it still has a lot of gloss. Overall, a strong copy of this rare record.
