So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1982 of the 'PORNOGRAPHY' album by THE CURE. It is on the FICTION label and has the catalogue number FIXD 7. A genuine UK first pressing it has the matrix numbers FIXD 7 A//3 and FIXD 7 B//3 in the runout grooves. The sleeve is in very good/excellent condition for its age. There is, however, some cornerwear and edgewear and there are a couple of marks on the front which you can see in the photos. The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable. The printed lyric inner sleeve is in excellent condition. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any 'spindle trails' showing that the record has hardly been played. The record is also in excellent condition and plays superbly with only occasional light surface noise and very occasional 'pops'. Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
