Description

THE CURE - SEVENTEEN SECONDS 1980 LP 1st Press Textured Sleeve FIX 004 VG+ / VG
The Cure Seventeen Seconds Vinyl LP Fiction Records FIX 004 1980 1st Pressing.  Textured sleeve and Strawberry stamp in matrix run out
1st pressing of The Cure's - Seventeen Seconds. LP has textured sleeve and FIX 004 sleeve number, denoting the first pressing which had textured sleeve, custom Fiction Records labels.  There were two initial pressings of this album with identical catalogue number FIX 4 stamped into the run-out area but on this edition the rear cover states FIX 004, while the 2nd initial pressing uses FIXD 4.  The LP also has the STRAWBERRY stamp in the matrix run out.
Vinyl plays extremely well and I would have described as excellent but there are a couple of pops and crackles but no skips or jumps at all. There is a minimal ripple on the of front sleeve (see pics) which is not a tear as does not go through to inside of sleeve and is approx 2cm.  There is also some minimal shelf wear on the bottom spine of the sleeve (as to be expected from an LP that is 43 years old ). Owned since new, from my personal collection.
I am gradually downsizing my record collection so am listing music from all genres - please feel free to check out my listings each week.
Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Item will be dispatched within 2 working days of payment being received.
