The Cymbaline, consisting of Stuart Claver on vocals, John Hollis on guitar and vocals, Gerald Morris on bass, Anthony Mortlock on lead guitar and vocals and Philip Chesteron on drums, were all Ilford boys and were an ever-present sight on the release schedules throughout the mid to late sixties. Kicking their careers off on Pye with "Please Little Girl" in 1965, they jumped to Mercury for their next releases, then finally settled on Philips in 1967 until their demise in 1969.
The single is on Pye Records, 7N.15916. Matrix side one: 7N15916 A1 ? H. Matrix side two: 7N15916 B1 ? H.

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has noticeable superficial scrape mark and the odd superficial mark that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no sticks or skips and minimal crackle, it still sounds great!).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a noticeable superficial scrape mark that does not affect the audio in any way and the odd mark that does cause the very odd light click here and there, plays with no sticks or skips and minimal crackle, it still sounds great!).
Comes in a Pye company sleeve.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
