Conditions : cover shows a small hole punch on the upper right part just above the letter E in AMSTERDAM. Some moderate browning and slight wear here and there, EX  / disc has a few cosmetic rubs which do not affect play at all, NEAR MINT

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : le musiche, composte da Tom Dawes e Don Dannemann, sono eseguite dal loro complesso : The Cyrkle. Piacevolissime composizioni basate su una psichedelia soffice ma sempre presente, tipico rock dei tardi anni sessanta, pop raffinato ed alcune vene di folk elettrico. Il gruppo Americano affronta con ottima capacità tecnica ed inventiva l'esecuzione dell'intera colonna sonora. Fra i brani : " Squeeze Play " canzone su un tessuto sonoro moderatamente lento con inserti psichedelici e buoni impasti vocali di controcanto, " Nicole " sottolineata dalle note del sitar e dal buon ritmo imposto dalla batteria, " The Chase ", tema strumentale dal veloce andamento con percussioni che si rincorrono e chitarra blueseggiante, " On The Road " ritmicamente guidata da un'ottima batteria con un sottofondo di vocalizzi, " The Riggins " tempo di rock ben scandito dal basso con andamento piuttosto veloce, " It's a Lovely Game, Louise ", evocativa ballata acustica.

Notes : music composed by Tom Dawes and Don Dannemann is performed by their band The Cyrkle. Very pleasing compositions based on a soft but ever-present psychedelia, typical rock from the late sixties, sophisticated pop and some veins of electric folk. TheAmerican band faces with great technical and inventive talent the performance of the whole soundtrack. Among the tunes : " Squeeze Play " a song on an overall slow development with some psychedelic insertion and excellent vocal blends in countermelody, " Nicole " underlined by sitar chords and fast drumming, " The Chase ", an instrumental theme from the hectic pace with chasing percussion instruments and bluesy electric guitar, " On The Road " rhythmically led by drums with some vocalism in the background, " On The Road " rock music from rather fast development well marked by electric bass, " It's a Lovely Game, Louise ", an evocative acoustic ballad.
