Up for auction is The Del Vikings :  " The Swinging , Singing Record Sessions " . Released in 1958 on Mercury # MG 20353 . The cover I have graded at VG+ . There are no seam splits . Three wrinkles which can be seen in picture 1 . One is across the lower left front corner ( result of a minor bump there ) and another at the bottom middle next to the chair leg . Another at the top of cover above the end of the word " Singing" .  I believe all of this can be seen on the pics . The left side upper corner has a small ( about 1/4 " paper tear ) again the result of a minor corner bump . Back cover is clean except for some very small brown marks . These can be seen next to the singer on the far left and includes a couple on his right sleeve . The inner sleeve is the flimsy poly which I believe is original . The disc is very clean and glossy with a very few minor scuffs . Both sides of the disc play graded at a strong VG+ .  The labels are clean except for some spindle marks . This record was not played too often and care was taken to keep it in great  condition . This is out of my personal archives and is a wonderful example of a very hard disc to find in any condition . Matrix numbers are side A ; MG-20353 A-1 and side B is MG-20353 B-1 . Good luck bidding on this gem !


          M : Mint - a nearly perfect or UN-played record

       NM or M- :  Near Mint:  Probably played but still looks like new.
       VG++ : A few light paper sleeve marks or scuffs that do not affect play; plays close to Near Mint

      SVG+ : Slightly better than VG+ but not VG++  .

        VG+ : There will be more noticeable marks and paper scuffs than VG++. Plays with very light surface noise.

       SVG : Better than VG but not quite VG+

        VG : Significant wear and surface marks and quite noticeable surface noise but no skips and still plays OK.

         G :  Heavy wear and plays with very apparent surface noise.

          F: Forget about it unless you might need the cover.

International Shipping: I use USPS First Class and Priority International Mail. Please note that the tracking documents required by Paypal is available ONLY with Priority Mail.

Shipping in The United States is via USPS Media Mail unless you choose otherwise. In that case please ask for costs. International rates have changed recently and while some countries have remained the same many others have changed. Please contact me BEFORE the auction ends and I will be happy to give you exact shipping costs. Bear in mind also that Pay Pal requires shipping documents (IE Tracking Numbers Etc) to be eligible for coverage. These shipping add ons are more pricey than standard air mail.
