Description

The Delrays-Lollipop Lady/(There's) Always something there to remind me (Arch 1301)

The Delrays were from Mascoutah, Illinois. They played small venues in Southern Illinois during the mid 1960s and even opened for The Beatles at Busch stadium in St. Louis at one time. They were a house band at place called "Collinsville Park Ballroom" and played weekly. In 1968, they recorded a single at Stax (for the Stax subsidiary Arch). It was produced by Nick Charles and Steve Cropper. This is a groovy wah-wah psych dancer. M- LISTEN TO THE TRACK
