*Original 1967 UK pressing of this monster Psych/Rock LP by The Deviants.

Released on the Underground Impresarios label.

Stampers are - IMPS 001 A-1 & IMPS 001 B-1.

The Mother of all Underground albums.

This original 1st issue was housed in a massive fold-out Poster Sleeve.

Designed by - Kipps.

Privately pressed it was originally distributed by Underground magazines - 'OZ' & 'IT' -

Street Sellers & various London Hippy Stores.

Below is a more detailed description of this particular album.

Before deciding to bid, please read carefully and also,

check out the supersize images to see the overall condition of album and sleeve.

The foldout cover -

is in original clear and bright condition with no major rips or added writing.

In keeping with its age and the nature of its design,

there is some edge and corner wear,

also some wear and small splits along the creases, where it was folded.

There are some light marks on some of the panels but generally,

for a 46 year old item, it's in great condition.

The record -

still has original shine and lustre,

but has obviously been played many times .

Under bright halogen light there are numerous surface marks on the vinyl

and light spindle marks on the otherwise very clean and unmarked labels.

Because of its rarity and visual condition - 

I have playgraded the entire album.

Both sides play through with no sticks, skips or jumps.

There is, however, some surface noise and occasional crackling,

most noticeable on the lead-in to tracks and in quieter sections.

This possibly could be improved with professional cleaning,

but I do not have the equipment to do this.

I believe VG to be a fair grading.

The record is by no means in Mint condition,

but even the odd hiss and crackle cannot diminish

the overall raw power of this extremely rare album.

This is just one of a recently acquired collection of mostly original U.K. Pop & Rock LP's that is surplus to requirements for my own collection.

They have been extremely well cared for.

I have tried to describe and grade this item as honestly and fairly as possible.

I am reluctant to grade any record as Mint unless it is still factory sealed or I know that it has never been played.

I have visually graded all records as fairly and accurately as possible +/- using the UK Record Collector’s Guide.

Any record with a picture cover is sent with the record and inner taken out and placed behind the sleeve to avoid sleeve damage in transit.

They are sent in professional mailers with stiffeners added for extra protection. Cd’s are bubble wrapped and sent in professional mailers.

More expensive items are also inserted into a heavy-duty padded bag to give that extra protection for the really valuable items.

I want ALL my items to arrive at their destination in the same condition they leave me.

I do not profit on postage, my packing is high standard and it weighs a little more.
