THE DEVIANTS – PTOOFF ! – IMP 1 • LP • Matrix Nos A1 / B1 • RARE ORIGINAL
This is the original very rare 1967 private pressing, catalogue number Underground Impresarios IMP 1, with full colour fold-out poster sleeve designed by Kipps. Matrix numbers – Side 1: IMPS 001 A-1, Side 2: IMPS 001 B-1.
Disc is in terrible condition! Scuffs and scratches everywhere! If it wasn’t such a rarity it would have been binned immediately BUT we have played it. Both sides have almost permanent crackles and ticks. Each side has one “stick” where you need physically to move the stylus on (track 4 on Side 1; Track 3 on Side 2). The folding poster sleeve is complete but is very scuffed and every fold has a split at some point. Definitely not one for the perfectionist but if you’re desperate to get hold of an original that is (just about) playable this is your chance.
