Description
Welcome to my auction for the deviants lp ptooff.This is the original underground 1st press of wich only 8000 were pressed.
matrix no:IMPS 001 A-1 side 1.
matrix no:IMPS 001 B-1 side 2
labels:underground impresarios compatible stereo.
The orange labels are in ex. condition with no writing stains or marks on both sides.
Cover:is in ex condition for age and is more cardboardy than the later presses.opens up as it should with no tears or rips.
Vinyl;side 1:A couple of light scratches that are non feelable and more hairlines under bright light that dont effect play.First track has some light crackle in places and the odd light tick but no nasty load pops.Third track has a series of ticks on rotation for about 1min which is just tolerable,then plays great.Apart from this the whole side plays ex,with obvious light crackle in some run out grooves etc.still retains its shine and grades as very good.
Vinyl:side 2:Track 1 has a slight scuff to the vinyl which dont effect play in any great way and is very light,but may be the reason for again some light crackle in places and the odd tick at the end of this track before run out again just a few light ticks.The rest of side 2 plays ex. with slight crackle in run outs etc.I played this through on a set of bose speakers and sounds great.
Over all this is a great playing album that holds its sheen and is in very good condition. I am trying to be as honest and accurate as possible and apart from the above plays great with no warps or nasty pops.
I grade my records under strong light until i see the rainbow effect from the oil this album was pressed from.
Sorry for lack of pictures but i do not have a good camera and only taken with a 3 pix. camera.
I have some dealers intrested in this record so have the right to end auction early if they come up with the right price.
