This is an original 1971 UK first pressing of the eponymously named THE DOG THAT BIT PEOPLE. On parlophone records. An incredibly rare progressive rock LP.
The sleeve : This textured non laminated flip back sleeve is in respectable condition for its age with no writing anywhere on the item. Both front and back panels look pretty good. The only damage is the mark on the front lower panel that traverses the dogs paws, even so it does`nt spoil the items appearance. There is very light edge wear to the sleeve which is to be expected on a none laminated sleeve of this age however it is still very bright and clean. Also the original inner sleeve is also present and in EXCELLENT condition.
The vinyl to both sides is a strong EXCELLENT +. The record shimmers like mirror and looks barley played. You have to look really hard under a bright light to find the very lightest spider web hair lines that appear on every record that was ever removed from its inner sleeve. The labels on both sides are immaculate. The album plays though its entirety without the slightest problem,playback is astounding. "Reptile man" what a song !
