You are bidding on a very rare record here, and one that is very hard to part with! I have never seen another! This is the mega rare 1967 French Mono Vogue 1st pressing of the classic self titled debut album by The Doors.  This has long been seen as one of the rarest of all Doors albums to find. Perhaps given extra significance that Jim Morrison's final resting place was in France. You will not see this record again for a very long time so don't miss it! A true rarity

The Classic 1st press Gold Elektra mono centre labels are in excellent condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Grubbyness, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! The gramophone rims containing the all-important 1st press Matrix are also obviously Mint!!!

As described above - the vinyl itself is visually in Excellent- condition with no Scratches, NO Groovewear and NO warping. There are some light hairlines and some light crackle The thick quality pressed chunky 1960's vinyl looks and feels great (it is super heavy!).

The rare Vogue laminated flipback sleeve is in very Good condition with beautifully preserved laminate! The spine is MINT with perfectly legible spine text and a beautiful unbroken laminate sheen!!! The seams have no wear save for some light wear approaching the opening edge. There is some damage to the reverse bottom right flipback, but it could be stuck back down. This sleeve easily grades as Very Good+!!! All in all a more than acceptable copy of a very rare record.  As you are probably now aware, I usually class Excellent as my cut off point for selling vinyl on eBay (in fact, most of my vinyl is Nr Mint), but finding a 1967 French Mono Vogue 1st press of The Doors debut, is such a rare event that I think this one is worthy of inclusion even at Excellent-/Very Good+!!! A seminal album that just never turns up for sale anymore!!! Don't miss it!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure.
