The much harder to find mono pressing of the DOORS' debut LP.

this is a First pressing.. (EKL-4007) Matrix # the same

1967




The first U.S. Pressing of their debut 1967 LP.   Like most of us who know the stereo pressing by heart, this MONO pressing is completely different sound here. By far the much harder to find and arguably the best sounding pressing than stereo version. PLAYS LOW VOLUME ON STEREO HIGH VOLUME fills the  ROOM. This is a whole different sounding recording on the mono tracks here..

* this is the very last MONO version I have - my last one  just recently sold for $63 without its cover! Arguably the better deal here with orig cover and Elektra sleeve.. BUY NOW and ensure it is yours and enjoy the killer MONO version.. 


Vinyl: VG+ visual grade - shows typical play wear -spindle marks, superficial marks; Play-graded Power Sound (VG++!) Heavy NON-Flimsy vinyl here...the way they used to press them!!!!


Cover: Very GOOD + (tight, stiff cardboard non-flimsy; ring wear but a well cared for cover here too) ;spine label even readable still!!
