LABEL no.: EKS-75011
COVER: VG+. Die-cut clear cover with yellow inner record sleeve. Has slight edge wear, bit of back creasing, punch hole, HYPE sticker on front.
VINYL: VG+. Clean and very shiny, a few small light scuffs.
LABEL CONDITION: beautiful WHITE PROMO labels with only a few faint spindle marks.

COMMENTS: US original WHITE LABEL PROMO album. The 6th and final studio album for Jim Morrison and The Doors!!! Over a year passed since the release of Morrison Hotel, but incidents continued to plague the band. LA Woman seemed to refresh the band, as their style to have a stronger bluesy feel, with such great trcaks as Riders On the Storm, LA Woman, Love Her Madly, Crawling King Snake, and others. Morrison had left LA to move to Paris shorly after the album was released, and was considering another tour to support the success of the record. It never happened. RIP. This is the hard to find WHITE LABEL PROMO!!!

PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's. AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!!
ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!
I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!! FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
