The Doors Bootleg Copy “No One Here Gets Out Alive”
“No One Here Gets Out Alive” is a box set by the band The Doors. The box set consists of four 33rpm records of a syndicated radio show called “Innerview”. The show was a music interview series hosted by Los Angeles disc jockey Jim Ladd.
The set consists of music by the Doors and interviews with the surviving members of the band covering various topics including the possibility Morrison’s being alive, discussed with drummer John Densmore.
The shows took 2 years to produce and aired with one episode per week during the summer of 1979, around the same time the book by the same name, “No One Here Gets Out Alive”, was released. The shows were initially released as a limited edition vinyl box set. Reportedly, the release was limited to 150 copies, many of which were presumed to have been retained by radio station employees.
There is no proper labeling and the white labels are each marked, as 1A, 2A, 3A or 4A. Records are VG+. Top cover of the box is split in 2 corners and the bottom in 1 corner. The artwork cover, shown in these pictures front and back, was not attached to the box.
