Description
The original release of this album came out in January of 1967. It pretty much set the tone for the year. Predates Sergeant Pepper's by almost 4 months. This is the Elektra release catalog number eks-74007 A&B. Side one run out number is..0 e k s - 74007 a- 1B. Discogs reference number is....12697937.
This appears to be a later in the year release from Electra, this is a Santa Maria pressing, with the album jacket containing the gold record award riaa shield on the front of the album cover. Album cover condition is pretty solid the front and the back of the album has album stacking where very noticeable on the front top and bottom and on the back mostly the top but some on the bottom. The corners are a little dinged up as usual overall the cardboard's actually in pretty good shape other than whatever I've already mentioned. I believe it's missing the original inner sleeve this has one of those half moon plastic sleeves in it.
Now the good news the album is a solid vg+ it has somewhere but I am not seeing any real scratches I see some handling marks some fingerprints but no real scratches I think this is going to clean up really well. I've graded it as VG Plus the labels are at least VG if not VG plus both sides do have some spindle marks around the hole other than that the labels are solid.
As with all vintage electronics and media this is sold as is with no warranties either expressed or implied as such it is non returnable and non-refundable....
We are marketing one large album collection, the couple had been intimately involved in the music scene in Atlanta Georgia in the '70s '80s and '90s, one partner worked in marketing at CBS Columbia and possibly other record companies in the '70s and '80s The other was an avid collector and session musician and band member across multiple bands and venues in Atlanta. Consequently there is a fairly large percentage of these albums that are Promotional/Sample/Marketing copies some local and some corporate mixed in.
****PLEASE NOTE, until further notice , we are only able to package and ship items once or possibly twice per week. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause ....****
****BEFORE PURCHASE READ****
After I finally figured out how to do it I have now set all albums to ship USPS Media Mail. Depending on location and weight I may still ship via USPS Ground Advantage whichever is cheaper for you..... keep checking back we're really just getting going lots of classic rock from the 60s 70s and '80s....
We have adopted the 6 tier, Gold Mine record grading system for all 33 and 1/3 LP's. Generally I'm trying to grade one grade below it's actual reading because I'm still fairly new with this, It's a work in progress...
Basically everything that we sell on eBay is to be considered previously worn, (for jewelry), or in used condition unless otherwise noted in the listing. Just like items in your own home when things get used it shows. That can be expected with all the items that we sell. If we list an item with damage, and a customer buys the item, we will message the buyeri, and Lucite Jewelry from the 1940s to the 1970s. We do not sell any reworked or newly created plastic jewelry.
All vintage and antique electronics are sold as is, with no guarantee as too operational condition, even if in the description, the item is described as working.
PACKAGING
We recycle our packaging to try to reduce our carbon footprint, but we work diligently to safely pack and ship your item so it arrives in good condition, as you expected. In some cases with higher value vintage radios we must separated the chassis from the case and this may require two boxes and will be additional shipping expense for the buyer. In this rare case I will contact buyer as soon as possible with correct shipping information.
