THE DOORS, Strange Days, original Elektra Records US MONO release, EKL-4014. Play tested all the way through - both sides. NO SKIPS. Great Monaural Mix and Sound! A few light pops and clicks but NOT BAD AT ALL.
Side One: (etched) EKL-4014A (mon) MR diamond-11089
Side Two: (etched) EKL-4014B (mon) MR diamond-11089-X
Vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition. Numerous light, superficial, scratches and scuffs but nothing that mars the groove. Great Gloss. Has a few light pops on playback but NOT BAD AT ALL. I would easily rate this vinyl at VERY GOOD PLUS if there were a few less light scratches. Monarch Pressing. Has a name written on the Side Two label . Several spindle tracks.
PLAY TESTED ALL THE WAY THROUGH BOTH SIDES. NO SKIPS. GREAT SOUND!
The jacket is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. A bit of creasing, ringwear and light scuffing. There is a name written at the bottom of the back cover (see photo). The jacket has the early release printing error of "EKS-74041" printed on the spine.
Includes the original custom lyric/photo paper inner-sleeve that has the same "EKS-74041" printing error. There is a large split at the bottom of inner sleeve that has never been taped.
While not pristine, this SUPER RARE 1967 release will be a WELCOME addition to just about any collection.
THE VINYL IS KEPT IN A SEPARATE SLEEVE OUTSIDE OF THE JACKET AND INNER SLEEVE. I WILL SHIP IT THAT WAY.
