ExEx This is, surprisingly, a very Doors sounding album, Morrison might be gone, but considering he didn't play an instrument, its really great to hear the Doors just post "LA Woman". I've never listened to it before, but since I'm putting it up for sale, I'm digging it. "Ships w/Sails", the single from the LP, is totally familiar from back in the day, I just didn't know it was the Doors. Very cool LP, they really found a groove and hung on to it. Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger shared the vocal and songwriting duties (after all, Robbie Krieger wrote many of The Doors hits, "Touch Me", the vast majority of "Light My Fire"). If you don't purchase it, at least check out the YouTube video for "Ships w/Sails". Excellent song. Manzarek fits the vocals admirably. This is a German Import copy, and is in all around EXCELLENT condition. The gatefold is in fine shape, just a couple of minor bumped corners, otherwise, shiny with a great legible spine, no splitting, wonderful edges. The vinyl on this shows almost no play, so much color and shine, super clean, this borders on Near Mint in all aspects. GREAT COPY! Any spots you see in the photos are from photographing it outside on a windy day, it is actually incredibly clean, but I took so many pictures that day that it would be very difficult taking them all over again. You will be surprised how nice the vinyl is! DONT MISS THIS COPY!
