Description
THE DOORS - WAITING FOR THE SUN (MONO) - HIGHLY COLLECTABLE LP
RED ELEKTRA LABEL (EKL 4024 MONO)
This is perhaps the one of The Doors RAREST records and is highly attractive to record collectors as i'm sure you know. I would like to present you with one of the best copies of this record availible. It has has possibly less than 3 plays!! (This even inclues a play grading by myself).
Lovely rare vinyl that is rarely listed on eBay.
I have also play graded this record and the sound is incredibly powerful like a new copy if it was sold today. I can congratulate the buyer of this record as it is truly one of the best Waiting for the Sun (Mono) copies around.

Vinyl condition: (Nr.Mint)
One of the best condition records you will ever find from an open copy. It is almost near new and apart from being opened, there is no suggestion of even being played
This is a THICK PRESS vinyl hence the amazing powerful sound coming from this record. Probably one of the best presses that could be availible when bought.
Vinyl has a lovely jet black polished shine. NO Hairlines, NO Scratches, NO Surface Marks, NO Scuffs.
Elektra labels..are just flawless.
Play grading analysis:
I have played the vinyl from start to end and I was amazed by the powerful sound of this MONO copy..Nothing/no reissue will ever come close to this sound. There is hardly even any crackling at all and of course no scratches, no pops & no clicks.
Cover condition: (EX)
The cover shows little sign of wear and the artwork is clean. There is some wear along the bottom edge. The spine is almost perfect condition and the artist name and title can be easily read
The front cover is again in excellent condition. The rear cover shows only a tiny bit of the beginning of ringwear at the top of the cover other than this the rear cover is near perfect.
The opening gatefold sleeve is also excellent has lyrics printed inside of the sleeve. There is only a minor crease inside the gatefold

MINT (M.) A brand new record. You CANNOT assign "MINT" to an open record. The vinyl is assumed to be unplayed as it is likely to still be in shrink wrap and never been opened NEAR MINT (NR.MINT) Highest grade I will assign to an open copy. Record is almost near perfect. A barely visible surface mark may be allowed. Light paper marks will be allowed, these are small lines when viewed under a light bulb - These will not effect audio pleasure of record. Vinyl has a lovely jet black shine. Cover and artwork are also near perfection (no heavy rips, splits etc..) Only minor signs of wear are allowed. NO harline scratches allowed EXCELLENT (EX.) Disc plays near perfect, but may have minor surface marks that shouldn't provoke much effect on audio pleasure. There may be the posibility of a hairline scratch or two. Vinyl is bright and labels are unamrked. Cover may show signs of wear down the edges. There may be hints of slight ringwear, however artwork is clean. VERY GOOD (VG)
Some visible surface wear, and hairline scratches. Labels may have signs of spindle wear. Cover shows signs of wear, creases and fraying may be evident
- Often my records don't ever fall below Excellent (EX)
I am selling a high quality private record collection from my Dad's huge collection of record which were hardly ever played (as he was making the transition from digital to analouge and tended to BUY records and hardly play them two or three times!!) Some buyers have desribed these vinyls as "amazing" "powerful sound" "lovely vinyls" etc...One buyer described my dad as an audiphille due to the amazing condition that the records are in - This LP is absolutely relevant to these descriptions and I am going to miss selling this beautiful record.
The records outbeat any shop as I am a private seller selling from single owned copies of immaculate and well kept records
